“I graduated from the Mass Maritime Academy in 2007. I’ve been working in the elevator industry for five years. I’ve been with Associated Elevator the whole time. I work in modernizations and new construction. I think the best attribute of my profession is that I can make an honest living doing good work. I like working for Associated Elevator because of the people I work with every day.”
Pete Langer
“I live north of Boston with my son Owen. I spent 12 years in the army and reserves. I was a staff sergeant in the intelligence field. I’m a fourth generation elevator constructor. I have a degree in applied sciences and I’m also certified in welding, OSHA 30 and rigging and signaling.
I’ve been in the elevator industry for 13 years with Associated Elevator. I do a little of everything, working in modernization, construction and repairs. Every job is a little different and requires a different approach. The best part is when you get to see the finished product. I like that I learn so many different valuable skills.
My co-workers are the best part about this company. The knowledge of the employees alone puts the company echelons above the rest. From the office to the field, the camaraderie of the field employees is exceptional. All in all, I would sum it up as teamwork with a family atmosphere.”
Jeff McClay
“I live along the 495 corridor with my wife Donna and our three kids, Keith, Britney and Brandin. Family is the most important thing to me. I’m proud of what our family has accomplished.
I’ve worked as an elevator mechanic for more years that I care to admit. I chose to work in the field because the customers are the best part of the job for me. I get to know my customers and I care about them. I think we’ve built a solid team and that’s what makes Associated Elevator a great place to work.”

“I raised my family in Mansfield and I currently live in Easton. My family, my job and my faith are the most important things to me. I’m a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ. I enjoy cycling and I participate in the Pan Mass Challenge every year.
I’ve been in the elevator industry for 34 years. I’m a maintenance technician and I enjoy the fact that I can establish relationships with my customers, travel around and work with my hands. I’ve spent 11 years with Associated Elevator and it is the best company that I’ve ever worked for. Management gives me the freedom to provide the best care for my customers and I appreciate that.”
