“Every April BSU hosts the annual Special Olympics Aquatics Division in the Moriarty Pool of the Kelly Gymnasium, and every year the number of participants exceeds the previous year. Dear Associated Elevator:
We have recently experienced an emergency that resulted in one of our residents becoming entrapped in the elevator and ultimately the motor had to be replaced. We are corresponding with you to let you know the service we received during this process.
When the elevator went down it was on a Friday night and it began with an entrapment. It was the night of your company Christmas party, and the person on call was very responsive and cooperative and willing to help even though he was in the middle of another entrapment a few hours away. He did a great job of keeping us informed of who would respond and the approximate time of his arrival.
We just want to let you know that your service men were excellent in communication, response time, workmanship and follow-up. They were professional, clean, courteous, and communicative in the whole process. We felt we were treated as a priority and that our situation was important to them. In times where many people like to look at the inconvenience and cost associated with elevator breakdowns, we want to concentrate and commend Associated Elevator on the excellent service your company and service people provided for us during this emergency breakdown. The construction crews at Associated Elevator were extremely professional in every way. The property endured nine months of renovations to the elevators and I can truly state that all of the guys were professional, polite and extremely neat doing their work.
Any issue that arose with the existing elevators was addressed by the service technician immediately.
When one of the existing cars went down one day, we had a full crew arrive from Associated Elevator to inspect the situation and eventually repairing the elevator. Everyone in our office understood that Associated Elevator was not at fault for the malfunction of the Otis Equipment and they used every resource available to get the car back in operation.
Upper management was on site routinely to make sure the project was on schedule and running smoothly. Updates on the scheduling of work was routinely updated via email by the project coordinator, which was very impressive and informative for me and the staff. I can also honestly state that Associated Elevator made every accommodation to the residents and staff that was requested of them.
I highly recommend Associated Elevator to service and rehab any elevator in the city.
